Softball Recap: Darlington Comes Up Short

Darlington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 17-0 to the Cuba City Cubans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Redbirds of the 7-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Darlington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Cuba City, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Darlington will face off against rival Boscobel at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Cuba City is set to square off against their familiar foe Iowa-Grant at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
