After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Queen Creek, Corona del Sol was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the O'Connor Eagles get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. That three run margin sets a new team best for the Aztecs this season.
Not much got past Caitlyn Ackerley, who gave up just four hits to keep O'Connor off the board. Those hits were Ackerley's first of the season.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jami Sheehan, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024.
