Gonzaga made national news in September when it dominated nationally-ranked Centreville 31-14 in a game that was televised by ESPN.
Now in the midst of Washington Catholic Athletic Conference play, Gonzaga sits at 4-1.
Petitbon ended his recruitment early when he announced in April that he was committing to Alabama. He's now one of four offensive linemen in the Crimson Tide's 2015 recruiting class.
According to 247Sports, Petitbon is the No. 54 recruit in the country and the nation's No. 3 offensive guard.
Petitbon and Gonzaga will enjoy a bye this week before getting set to take on league rival Archbishop Carroll.
