Football Game Preview: John Carroll Patriots vs. Pallotti Panthers + Official Tickets

The John Carroll Patriots are taking a road trip to challenge the Pallotti Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. John Carroll will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Friday, John Carroll made easy work of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and carried off a 28-7 win. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Carson Shoffner, who rushed for 170 yards and three TDs, and also picked up 37 receiving yards. Those 170 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Pallotti and St. Paul's, and St. Paul's kept the tradition alive. The Panthers and the Crusaders were almost perfectly matched up on Saturday, but the Panthers suffered a 27-26 loss.

John Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Pallotti, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

John Carroll couldn't quite finish off Pallotti in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 and fell 6-3. Can the Patriots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
