Football Recap: Wheeler County Beats Hawkinsville for Their Sixth Straight Victory

Wheeler County extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Alvin Ricks. The Bulldogs strolled past the Hawkinsville Red Devils with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 36-18 for which the team can thank Ricks, who rushed for 107 yards and one TD. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 107 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Wheeler County's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Hawkinsville, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
