Soccer Game Preview: Guyer vs. Harlingen

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Guyer take on the Harlingen at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday... Guyer will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Guyer's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Clear Springs 3-0. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won three games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Clear Springs with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Fenley Hibbard, Makayla Wilson, and Emma-Kate Swenson.

Meanwhile, Harlingen's game on Friday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lovejoy. That's two games in a row now that the Cardinals have lost by exactly two goals.

Guyer pushed their record up to 4-1-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three contests. As for Harlingen, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.
