Softball Recap: Central Victorious

Central's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Palm Desert Aztecs. For the Spartans, this counts as revenge for the 10-4 win the Aztecs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

The victory got Central back to even at 6-6. As for Palm Desert, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-11.

Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-3 defeat against Brawley on the 11th. As for Palm Desert, they will head out to challenge Xavier Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Aztecs are facing the Saints at the right time seeing as the Saints are stuck on a 17-game losing streak.
