There's no place like home for Grand Haven, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against the South Lyon East Cougars on Sunday as they made off with an 11-3 win. The Buccaneers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by seven runs or more this season.

Grand Haven's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for South Lyon East, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-17 record this season.

Grand Haven is taking a road trip to square off against Rockford at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for South Lyon East, they have already played their next contest, a 9-0 victory against Walled Lake Central on the 18th.
