Basketball Recap: College Station Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

College Station had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a 49-45 W over the Lake Creek Lions on Tuesday. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 174th, while the Lions are ranked 427th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

College Station's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-8. As for Lake Creek, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Brenham the next time they take the court. Lake Creek will head out to face Brenham at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while College Station will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on January 14th.
