Softball Recap: Aragon Dons vs. Burlingame Panthers        
        
		
            
 There's no place like home for Aragon, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past the Burlingame Panthers  4-3. That's more bragging rights for Aragon, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Rae D'Amato made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  pitched seven innings while giving up  three earned runs off   seven  hits. D'Amato has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in eight consecutive pitching appearances. D'Amato was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Morgan Marburger was  incredible,  going 3-for-3 with a  home run, two  RBI,  and a  double.  Are Makropoulos was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-3.
 On Burlingame's side,  Olivia Fleming made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Keira Parker, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Aragon now  has a winning record of 12-11-1. As for Burlingame, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record  this season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aragon will  take on Hillsdale at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Hillsdale's pitching crew has only allowed 1.7  runs per game  this season, so Aragon's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Burlingame, they will head out on the road to  square off against  San Mateo at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Burlingame is facing San Mateo at the right time seeing as San Mateo is stuck on  a  five-game losing streak.
