La Vernia is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 31-13 victory over Calallen. That's two games straight that the Bears have won by exactly 18 points.

COOPER NULL continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 181 yards and three scores while picking up 11.3 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 76 yards.

One reason for the win was Davenport's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Peyton Yankie was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.
