Soccer Game Preview: Kamiakin vs. Hermiston

Kamiakin is 2-8 against Hermiston since March of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Braves will venture away from home to take on the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Kamiakin is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Richland, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Kamiakin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 178th, while Richland are ranked 47th).

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Hermiston's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Chiawana by a score of 1-0. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Hermiston couldn't quite close it out.

Kamiakin's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Hermiston, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
