Greencastle owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Saturday. They walked away with a 4-0 win over the Cloverdale Clovers. This was a revenge game for the Tiger Cubs: when they faced off against the Clovers two weeks ago, they had to take a 16-6 loss.

The victory made it two in a row for Greencastle and bumps their season record up to 14-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Cloverdale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Greencastle will be playing in front of their home fans against North Putnam at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Tiger Cubs will need to watch out since the Cougars have now posted at least ten runs in their last five games. As for Cloverdale, they will head out to challenge North Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Thunderbirds have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.67 runs per game on average), something the Clovers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
