Central and Everett are an even 3-3 against one another since May of 2017, but likely not for long. The Dragons will host the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Central has given up an average of 10.8 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Central managed to slip by Hollidaysburg the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Dragons lost 11-4 to the Golden Tigers on Wednesday.

Kailyn Gahagan was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over four innings pitched. Gahagan was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs and two doubles. Those doubles were her first of the season.

Gahagan wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was McKenna Smith, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Everett came out on top against Meyersdale two weeks ago thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run first inning. The Warriors took their contest against the Red Raiders 8-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Everett, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
