Central's game  two weeks ago was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They blew past the Laurel Hill Hoboes 13-0. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won six games by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
The team  relied heavily on  Shelby Zigler, who  scored three  runs and  stole four bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. She is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last six games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Taegan Baggett, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Central  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Laurel Hill struck out nine times.
Central's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Laurel Hill, they now  have a losing record of 3-4.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central will take on Freeport at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Central will need to watch out since Freeport has now posted at least ten  runs  in their last three contests. As for Laurel Hill, they will venture away from home to  challenge Baker  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Laurel Hill's pitchers better be ready for this one: Baker has averaged an impressive 8  runs per game this season.
