Chapel Hill won the last time they faced Riverside-Durham and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pirates. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Chapel Hill not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Riverside-Durham between 15 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15, 25-15.

Leading Chapel Hill to victory were Leila Tooloee and Maryn McIntyre. Tooloee had four digs and four aces, while McIntyre had six digs and four aces. That's the most aces McIntyre has posted over her last eight contests. Haara Umenwaliri also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Chapel Hill was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Riverside-Durham only served six aces.

Chapel Hill's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Riverside-Durham, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.
