It was a good run, but Maclay unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They and the Leon Lions finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw. The result kept the Marauders happy, as they haven't lost a game since November 20, 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Macy Cureton, who's now up to four this season.

Maclay's draw makes their record 7-3-1 this season. Meanwhile, Leon's record is now 6-4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maclay will venture away from home to face off against Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Leon, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Leon duke it out with the St. John Paul II at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
