Soccer Recap: Moore Haven Comes Up Short

Moore Haven lost against Donahue Catholic back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Moore Haven Terriers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Donahue Catholic Shamrocks. While losing is never fun, the Terriers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 509th, while the Shamrocks are ranked 215th).

Moore Haven's goal came courtesy of Ryan Peet, who's now up to two this season.

Moore Haven dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Donahue Catholic, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-2-1.

Moore Haven wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Glades Day on the 8th. Donahue Catholic has also already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Mason Classical Academy on the 9th.
