Illini West took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lewistown/Cuba/Spoon River Valley Miners 68-6. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Miners recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Illini West will host St. Teresa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lewistown/Cuba/Spoon River Valley, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Knoxville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
