After losing to Hillcrest the last time they met, Chaparral decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Chaparral skirted past Hillcrest 2-1. The victory was nothing new for the Pumas as they're now sitting on five straight.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Chaparral got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-19, 18-25, 15-10.

Chaparral pushed their record up to 11-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Hillcrest, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chaparral will take on Great Oak at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Great Oak will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Chaparral surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hillcrest, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Vista del Lago at 5:15 p.m. on April 1.
