Softball Recap: Delta Comes Up Short on the Road Against Madison-Grant

Delta had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Madison-Grant Argylls, falling 11-1. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

Delta saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava West, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. As for Madison-Grant, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Eastern at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
