Fruitland put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Shadow Ridge Stallions by a score of 9-4.

Titus Vidlak and Quinn Hood did most of the damage at the plate: Vidlak scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances, while Hood scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Vidlak is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Nate Grosvenor, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Fruitland's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Shadow Ridge, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-8-2.

Fruitland wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-4 win against West Point on the 27th. As for Shadow Ridge, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Centaurus on the 26th.
