After a string of four wins, Festus's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Hillsboro Hawks by a score of 40-37. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Gregory Robinson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Hillsboro, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 22 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Robinson has scored at least a third of Hillsboro's points. Karson Campbell was another key player, putting up nine points.

Festus' loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Hillsboro, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Festus will challenge Valle Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hillsboro, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Farmington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Farmington is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 71.2 points per game this season.
