Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Florida). They managed a 62-58 win over the Pensacola Tigers on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Jaguars as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

West Florida's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7. As for Pensacola, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

West Florida and Pensacola could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. West Florida (ranked 608th) will meet St. Paul's Episcopal (ranked 133rd) at 1:00 p.m. on December 26th. Meanwhile, Pensacola will face off against Orange Beach at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday down 278 places (464 vs. 186).
