Football Recap: Nixa Piles Up the Points Against Kickapoo

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nixa). They claimed a resounding 56-7 win over the Kickapoo Chiefs. With the Eagles ahead 49-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Jayden McCaster had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 200 yards and five scores while picking up 12.5 yards per carry. McCaster is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 110 every time he's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Adam McKnight, who threw for 214 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Nixa was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 297 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

The victory keeps Nixa at an undefeated 6-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 41.3 points this season. As for Kickapoo, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
