New Philadelphia is a perfect 3-0 against Madison Comprehensive since September of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Quakers will square off against the Rams at 7:00 p.m. New Philadelphia will be strutting in after a victory while Madison Comprehensive will be coming in after a loss.

New Philadelphia is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past The Linsly School to the tune of 49-7 on Friday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Quakers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 226th in Ohio, while the Cadets are ranked 24th in West Virginia).

Among those leading the charge was Kolston Fox, who rushed for 26 yards and two TDs. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in September of 2024. Caleb Carlisle made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

New Philadelphia didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Brexton Norris, Carlisle, and Jaxson Rice picked up one apiece. Carlisle got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 38-7, which was the final score in Madison Comprehensive's tilt against Ashland on Friday. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Philadelphia is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.8 points over those games. As for Madison Comprehensive, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

New Philadelphia took their win against Madison Comprehensive when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 35-14 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Quakers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
