Softball Recap: Bishop Foley Ventures vs. Central Catholic Fighting Irish

Bishop Foley extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping their season record down to 4-7 in the process. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Catholic Fighting Irish. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Irish this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 on Friday.

Sasha Walker was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Abbey Jones was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

As for Central Catholic, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-9. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games.
