Volleyball Recap: St. Francis Borgia Takes a Loss

After flying high against Festus on Tuesday, St. Francis Borgia came back down to earth. The Knights fell 2-0 to the Park Hill South Panthers on Friday. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

While St. Francis Borgia ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-17.

St. Francis Borgia's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8-2. As for Park Hill South, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-5.

St. Francis Borgia has already played their next match (against Ozark), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Park Hill South, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Lafayette on the 10th.
