Basketball Recap: Lee Academy Comes Up Short

Lee Academy lost against Calais on January 13th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lee Academy Pandas took a 50-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Calais Blue Devils. The matchup marked the Pandas' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Lee Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Calais, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.

Lee Academy and Shead will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Shead will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lee Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Calais, they will square off against Penobscot Valley at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Calais is facing Penobscot Valley at the right time seeing as Penobscot Valley is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
