Basketball Recap: Afton Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Afton Eagles came up short against the Cave Springs Hornets and fell 35-26.

Afton's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Cave Springs, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Afton will venture away from home to face off against Wyandotte at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cave Springs, they will challenge Braggs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
