Volleyball Recap: Bolton Takes a Loss

Bolton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Suffield Wildcats, falling 3-0. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Bolton was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Suffield's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-9, 25-16.

Bolton's offense was headlined by Cameron Anderson and Rhianna Lebron, who picked up two kills apiece. Lebron also shared the team's lead in assists with Sofia Jimenez: they picked up two each.

Bolton's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Suffield, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bolton will venture away from home to face off against East Catholic at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Suffield, they will head out to take on Northwestern Regional at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
