Volleyball Recap: Waunakee Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Waunakee entered their tilt with Rosary on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Royals by a score of 2-0.

Julia Grogan paced Waunakee's offense, picking up 11 kills. Grogan got some help from Amy Denkert and her 22 assists. Grogan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Waunakee's victory bumped their record up to 34-7. As for Rosary, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-25.

Waunakee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Naperville North on the 17th. As for Rosary, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Andrew on the 18th.
