The Marian Crusaders will head out on the road to face off against the Millard West Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Marian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Marian and Millard South have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Crusaders never let the Patriots get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. Marian might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Millard South from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Meanwhile, Millard West managed to keep up with Elkhorn South until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Wildcats lost 4-1 to the Storm. Both teams had to tread carefully at times as the refs weren't afraid to hand out yellow cards: Harper Knutsen was handed one for Millard West, while Elkhorn South got theirs courtesy of Gabby Wagenfuhr.

Millard West now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Marian, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Marian was able to grind out a solid victory over Millard West when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crusaders since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
