Baseball Recap: Holly Takes a Loss

Holly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Eads Eagles, falling 17-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 on Friday.

Holly saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Coy King, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Holly's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Eads, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Holly wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 18-2 loss against Las Animas on the 29th. As for Eads, they have also already played their next matchup, a 4-0 victory against Cheyenne Wells on the 1st.
