There's no place like home for Paradise, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Whitesboro Bearcats 6-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since April 29, 2024.

Paradise got a great performance from Braden Wilson as he struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Wilson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Carter Mara and Logan Lampley did most of the damage at the plate: Mara went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, while Lampley went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI Lampley has posted since back in March.

Paradise hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They are 5-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.

Paradise is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for Whitesboro, they now have a losing record of 11-12.

As of now, neither Paradise nor the Bearcats have any future games scheduled.
