Baseball Recap: Northern Nash Comes Up Short

Northern Nash was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pamlico County Hurricanes.

Marquis Nicholson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season.

Northern Nash's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Pamlico County, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.

Coming up, Northern Nash will take on First Flight in a tournament on Tuesday. As for Pamlico County, they will be taking part in a tournament against West Columbus at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
