Basketball Recap: Ocean Lakes Takes a Loss

Ocean Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 30th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins and fell 81-39. While losing is never fun, Ocean Lakes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 364th, while Cape Henry Collegiate is ranked 125th).

Ocean Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Cape Henry Collegiate, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Ocean Lakes will challenge Princess Anne at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cape Henry Collegiate, they will take on Hampton Roads Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Cape Henry Collegiate's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matchups.
