Alex Dunn gave up the fewest walks he has since back in May of 2025 on Thursday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Mott is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 5-7 otherwise.

Dunn's strong effort led Mott over Center Line and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers are limping into the matchup having lost four straight at home. There's no doubt they're looking for a change of fortune, but will Dunn and the Marauders have enough to stop it?
