Malakoff is 9-1 against Eustace since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Malakoff Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Eustace Bulldogs at 6:10 p.m. Eustace took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Malakoff, who comes in off a win.

It was a proper cat-fight when Malakoff challenged Winona on Tuesday. Malakoff came out on top in a nail-biter against Winona, sneaking past 2-0. The two-point effort marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Eustace was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 46-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Edgewood. While Eustace didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Edgewood 13-9 in the first quarter.

Malakoff is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.4 points per game. As for Eustace, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

Everything came up roses for Malakoff against Eustace in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 56-18 victory. Will Malakoff repeat their success, or does Eustace have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
