Basketball Recap: Frassati Catholic Takes a Loss

Frassati Catholic lost against Covenant back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Frassati Catholic Falcons fell 58-51 to the Covenant Knights. The Falcons' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Covenant found their leader in sophomore Connor Evans, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds. Evans also set a new season-high mark in steals with three. Another player making a difference was Josh Hook, who posted 13 points and six rebounds.

Frassati Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Covenant, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 16 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Frassati Catholic will head out to face off against Kinkaid at 7:00 p.m. on January 7th. Frassati Catholic is facing Kinkaid at the right time seeing as Kinkaid is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Covenant, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-44 victory against San Antonio Christian on the 31st.
