While Iowa put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Eunice. Iowa was the clear victor by a 6-0 margin over Eunice. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.

Iowa has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. Eunice's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 13-8.
