Basketball Recap: Denbigh Sets Scoring Season-High Against Bethel

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Denbigh). They blew past the Bethel Bruins 74-52 on Thursday. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Bruins recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Denbigh pushed their record up to 15-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points over those games. As for Bethel, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Coming up, Denbigh will venture away from home to challenge Kecoughtan at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bethel, they will host Heritage at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Heritage will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Bethel surely won't give up without a fight.
