Two Rivers recap November 13, 2013

Brooke lost to Cabell Midland 48-12 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Wheeling Park made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,167 from 1,241. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 55-21 victory over John Marshall last week.

The Patriots' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Zach Phillips threw for 229 and 3 touchdowns and Josh Angalich had 113 yards receiving. On the ground Savion Johnson chipped in 203 yards. Eric Banks helped Wheeling Park's passing attack out by catching 6 balls for 69 yards.

Angalich was the best receiver in Two Rivers this week as Wheeling Park bested the Monarchs. Angalich racked up 3 receptions for 113 yards. Banks helped Wheeling Park's passing attack out by catching 6 balls for 69 yards.

Wheeling Park's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Patriots feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Phillips has thrown for 1,531 yards and 18 touchdowns this season, while Banks has 38 catches for 699 yards.

The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between University and Morgantown. The Hawks enters the contest ranked ninth in the state, while the Mohigans ranks eighth.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when University takes on Morgantown. John Kelley's team has allowed 121 points this season, while John Bowers' team has given up 150.
