Football Game Preview: King George Foxes vs. Chancellor Chargers + How To Watch

The King George Foxes are taking a road trip to take on the Chancellor Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with ten consecutive losses dating back to last season for King George and 12 for Chancellor dating back to last season.

King George is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Caroline on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Foxes took a blow against the Cavaliers, falling 54-14. While losing is never fun, the Foxes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 270th, while the Cavaliers are ranked 62nd).

Meanwhile, Chancellor came up short against Eastern View on Friday, falling 44-20.

Chancellor's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for King George, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 0-9.

Everything came up roses for King George against Chancellor when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 35-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Foxes since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
