Volleyball Recap: Norcross Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Norcross had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Etowah Eagles. This was a revenge game for the Blue Devils: when they faced off against the Eagles last Thursday, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Sofia Guerrero-Wilson paced Norcross' offense, picking up 13 kills. Guerrero-Wilson got some help from Ellie Ruth Blue and her 20 assists. Grayson Taylor controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Norcross' record is now 8-4. As for Etowah, they moved to 8-2 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.

Norcross has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Central on the 23rd. As for Etowah, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Hebron Christian on the 23rd.
