Volleyball Recap: Calvary Christian Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sports Leadership & Management, Calvary Christian was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Sarasota Christian Blazers by a score of 3-1.

Calvary Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-20.

Calvary Christian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Sarasota Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coincidentally, Calvary Christian and Sarasota Christian will both be playing Keswick Christian the next time they take the court. Calvary Christian will host Keswick Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Sarasota Christian will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
