Football Recap: Swansboro Comes Up Short

After soaring to 42 points the game before, Swansboro was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They had to suffer through a 34-3 loss at the hands of the White Oak Vikings. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Kevin Till threw for 51 yards on six of 11 attempts. Nolan Armstrong was his top target, picking up 62 receiving yards.

Swansboro now has a losing record of 1-2. As for White Oak, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Swansboro will be playing at home against East Carteret at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for White Oak, they will head out on the road to take on Kinston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
