Basketball Recap: Melba Skates Past Marsing with Ease

Melba waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Marsing Huskies 52-16. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 46-36 on January 8th.

Despite the loss, Marsing still got an impressive performance from Kelsey Parkins, who posted eight points and six boards.

Melba has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Marsing, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing The Ambrose School the next time they take the court. Marsing will head out to face The Ambrose School at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while Melba will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
