Baseball Recap: Keota Comes Up Short

After flying high against Webbers Falls on Thursday, Keota came back down to earth. The Lions came up short against the Arkoma Mustangs on Friday, falling 11-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost three in a row.

Keota's loss dropped their record down to 6-8-1. As for Arkoma, with the win, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-10.

Coming up, Keota will head out on the road to square off against Leflore at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Savages' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Arkoma, they will challenge Quinton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
