Softball Recap: George Washington Prep Generals vs. Crenshaw Cougars
The third road contest was the charm for George Washington Prep, as they earned their first away win of the season. They walked away with a 15-12 victory over the Crenshaw Cougars on Wednesday. The Generals haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
The team relied heavily on Emily Varela, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three stolen bases, and five RBI. She has been hot, having posted three or more hits the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Siler, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with four stolen bases and three runs.
